Our goals are to unite like-minded businesses and their local supply chain to get through these challenging times, and to pave a more sustainable future for our community.

Founded by Hobart restaurateur Chloe Proud and designer Michelle Boyde.
Future Feeders was born in response to Covid-19 and the near-devastation of Hobart’s small independent hospitality and produce industries that followed, with an aim to re-establish and tighten local food supply chains, create re-employment opportunities for newly unemployed growers, producers, chefs and hospitality workers, and to future-proof our industry from future shock.

Specially created food and drink products you can soon purchase through our online supermarket.  Made from Tasmanian produce, direct from our local producers, reducing food miles, waste and strengthening local food chains.

Dinner and Snack Boxes

Chef-prepared meals and snacks for your online special event, delivered to your guests at home or available from a central pick-up point (State-wide) for a shared event experience.

We have provided lunch and dinner to hundreds of city workers and residents during Covid-19 lockdowns, with guest chefs Analiese Gregory (Franklin Restaurant), Jaimie Yates (Pasta Queen), Alex Morton-Brown (Agrarian Kitchen) and Nagham A-knan (Migrant Resource Centre) and others, through our pop-up chefs program at Oddfellows Restaurant in Hobart.

We most recently provided chef-prepared ‘finish-at-home’ dinner boxes for Architect Institute of Australia’s 2020 Awards night – 80 boxes delivered state-wide as well as interstate.
